Privacy Policy

Effective October 20, 2026

The Other Side of the Sentence (“we,” “us”) is a media platform hosted by Dr. Jovan T. Davis. This policy explains what information this website collects and what we do with it. In short: we collect very little, we use it only to stay in touch with you, and we never sell it.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. When you join the launch list, we receive your email address. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email, the reason you selected and your message.
  • Anonymous visit statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not identify you, and does not follow you to other websites.
  • Standard server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps routine technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run the site securely.

How we use it

  • To tell you when episodes launch and send occasional updates, if you joined the list
  • To reply to your message, if you contacted us
  • To understand which content is useful and improve the site

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not use it for advertising.

Who helps us

Form submissions are delivered to us through Formspree, and the site is hosted by Vercel. These providers process information only to provide their service to us. If we move the launch list to an email newsletter service, your email will be transferred there for the same purpose, and every email will include an unsubscribe link.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time. To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, send a request through our contact page and we’ll take care of it.

How long we keep it

We keep your email for as long as you stay subscribed, and contact messages for as long as needed to respond and keep a reasonable record of the conversation.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the effective date above.
